A little about Andrew:
Andrew has been training as a member of Shotokan Karate International Australia [SKIA] from 2009 and he became a member of Karyukai Karate Melbourne with Sensei Natsuko Mineghishi in 2010. His initial acquaintance to Karate was with Go Kan Ryu in Ballarat. With his family, Andrew moved to Wodonga in late 2011. Since there is no Shotokan dojo in Wodonga, Andrew has decided to open his club in order to continue his commitment to Shotokan Karate. He is truly enjoying teaching Karate and sharing his passion with local people in Wodonga.

Andrew also went to Japan in early 2012 for 2 week intensive Karate training. He travelled to Okinawa, Yoron Island, Oita and Tokyo and trained with various Karate masters. This included training with Soke Hirokazu Kanazawa 10th Dan of Shotokan Karate-do International Federation [SKIF)] and Sensei Morio Higaonna 10th Dan of International Okinawan Goju-ryu Karate-do Federation [IOGKF]. He was heavily inspired by the Japanese training and wishes to attain further training there regularly.
